The Les Schwab Bowl

The Les Schwab Bowl (formerly the Shrine Game and Oregon Bowl) will again feature the top-graduating seniors from around the state in the traditional battle on the gridiron between the North and South All-Stars. Many Bowl alums go on to win football awards and honors at the college level. 2008 is the 61th year for this North-South football classic. |

The Nike Global Challenge

The 2nd Annual Nike Global Challenge, an 8-team, 20-game tournament, features the top high school and U19 basketball players from the United States, and featured international teams. For USA teams, the Nike Global Challenge is the final tournament in Nike's series of Skills Academies. The top 40 players selected from the Lebron James skills camp represent USA in the Nike Global Challenge.

The Les Schwab Kickoff Classic

This event showcases the best 5A/6A and 4A programs in Oregon and Washington in a football double-header. Last year's event pitted the Westview (OR) against Skyview (WA) in the first game, and Tigard (OR) against Bethel (WA) second. Through this event, Les Schwab contributes to high school athletic programs that are strapped for funding. Expect outstanding pre-season football action.

The Les Schwab Shootout showcases the best northern California basketball programs in this three-day pre-holiday event. Last year's event was well received by the fans from the Sacramento and Bay area. Many players have gone on to star at the college level and even compete in the NBA. Through the LSI, Les Schwab contributes to high school athletic programs that are strapped for funding. Who will be crowned champion in this year's tournament?

Oregon's premiere holiday basketball tournament allows the best high school teams from Oregon and southwest Washington to compete against nationally-ranked basketball programs to kick off the winter basketball season. Many players have gone on to star at the college level and even compete in the NBA. Through the LSI, Les Schwab contributes to high school athletic programs that are strapped for funding. 2008 is the 13th year for this outstanding holiday event.
