Bio: Kery not only finished the year as a three time offensive player of the week at Churchill H.S., he also averaged 128 yards/carry in the first three games. Additionally, he had 22 carries for 224 yards in four games. As a three year letterman in football Kery had the opportunity to be a part of the 2001 Mid-Western league Championship team. He was also a three-year letterman in basketball and a member of the 2001 Churchill H.S. State basketball Championship team. Kery also lettered two years in track and field. Beyond athletics he has a 3.41 GPA and 140+ community service hours. Additionally, he was nominated to speak at a press conference to save our schools for being such a standout student athlete. Kery will continue his football career this fall on a partial scholarship at Portland State University.
