Bio: As a 2003 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Nominee, Silas has achieved plenty of success on and off the field. In 2003 he was named first team all-PIL at linebacker and received second team honors in 2002. In addition to the three letters he received in football, Silas also lettered in baseball and track. He will head to Eugene in the fall and plans to walk on with the University of Oregon football team.
