Bio: As a junior, Ruben was a third team all-valley offensive lineman and as a senior in 2005, he was a second team all-valley lineman on both offense and defense. Additionally, he was named to the All-Regional team. From 2004-2006 he was the district wrestling champ and placed sixth and seventh in state in 2005 and 2006, respectively. At West Salem, Ruben earned three football letters, four wrestling letters, one track & field letter and two lacrosse letters. In the fall Ruben plans to attend Western Oregon University where he will be playing football on a partial scholarship.
