Bio: Ben had a very successful career at South Medford. As a junior, he was a SOC first team defensive lineman and a SOC second team offensive guard. As a senior, he was a Team Captain for South Medford and was voted Defensive MVP by his teammates as well as Lineman of the Year for his team. His league honors include being on the SOC first team for both defensive and offensive lines and SOC defensive player of the year. At the state level, Ben was an honorable mention selection at defensive line. Ben also was a part of the baseball team, being named to the all-SOC first team as a junior, made second team SOC conference as a catcher in baseball this year, and will be playing this summer for the Medford Mustangs American Legion AAA baseball team. Ben earned seven total letters at South Medford -- three in football and four in baseball. In the fall Ben will attend Western Oregon University where he will be studying fire ecology and fire services, and play football on a partial scholarship.
