Marty Johnson - Head Coach - Sheldon High School
Coach Johnson continues to do great things as Head Coach of the Sheldon Irish winning Oregon’s 6A State Championship last year with his Sophomore son at quarterback. Sheldon has won 7 consecutive league championships under the tutelage of Coach Johnson. They also won the State Championship in 2002 with current NFL and former Washington State quarterback, Alex Brink leading the way. In 2007, Coach Johnson was named the Southwest League Coach of the Year and has been named Oregon’s Coach of the Year twice (’01 & ’02). |

John Beck - Assistant Coach - Crater High School
Coach Beck was head coach of the South All-Stars in 2003. He has been coaching for 23 years and has been at Crater for the last 4 years winning the conference title in 2007. He was named the SOC Coach of the Year in 2003 while at North Medford and has guided Crater to 16 wins the last two years. |

Dan Fritz - Assistant Coach - Willamette High School
Coach Fritz joins the South’s Les Schwab Bowl staff after winning his league championship in 2007 and being named Coach of the Year for his conference. He has coached for 17 years and just finished his 2nd year as the Head Coach at Willamette. |

John Nehl - Assistant Coach - Mt. View High School
Coach Nehl just finished his 28th year of coaching by winning his league championship. He has been named Coach of the Year in his conference 3 times and also won league titles in 1995 and 2006. |

Randy Nyquist - Assistant Coach - West Albany High School
Coach Nyquist led West Albany to the 2007 5A State Championship title after coming up short in 2006. Coach Nyquist has coached at West Albany for 9 years and has been named league coach of the year 4 times and won 3 league championships. He was also the 2007 5A Coach of the Year for the state. |

Mitch Sanders - Assistant Coach - Tigard High School
Coach Sanders returns for his second time as a coach in the Les Schwab Bowl. He guided Tigard to another successful season and birth in the 6A playoffs in 2007. |

Shawn Stanley - Assistant Coach - West Salem High School
Coach Stanley won the 2007 CVC league title and was named Coach of the Year for his conference. He has been coaching 10 years and just finished his 3rd year as Head Coach at West Salem. This is his first appearance as a coach in the Les Schwab Bowl. |
