*Coach Lathen is in his 10th year of coaching, having spent 4 years as an assistant at Cypress Creek in Houston and 4 years as the head coach at Port Angeles in Washington.
* The Beavers are looking to improve upon their first playoff appearance in four years under second year coach Erik Lathen. The Beavers will be exciting to watch as they will play with an emphasis on pace and pressure from both an offensive and defensive standpoint. With two starters and six returning lettermen from last year's playoff team, the Beavers are primed to have a successful season.
