* The 2009 – 2010 Spartan Basketball team will have 5 returning players from last season with various talent, experience and leadership skills,
that will help them compete for a league title and return trip to the state playoffs.
* This is Antoine Shired’s first year as a head coach after being a long time assistant at Westview.
* Hillsboro state playoffs 8 out of the 9 last years. The Spartans were 2nd in state in 2003 and 4th in state 2008. They have won 4 league championships in the last 8 years.
