* Coach Doherty is starting his 12th year at Oregon City which is making its 3rd appearance in the LSI. They placed 2nd in 2007. During his coaching career, he has been at 7 different Oregon schools, compiled a record of 805-357 and won three state championships.
*The Pioneers should be a contender for the league title in the tough Three Rivers league. They return 1st team all league selections Brycen Driver and Tyler Ferguson as well as 2nd team all league selection Trevor Ferguson. Oregon City has a versatile perimeter game with good outside shooting and team speed. Charlie Poppen and Malcolm Paulston will play prominent roles, and Taylor Meyric and Lyle Rinearson, both 6-5, will strengthen the inside game. Sophomore Any Rondema will help with his all around play.
