Jefferson has won three out of the last four 5A State Championships and will be aiming for a fourth in five years.
Head coach Patrick Strickland enters his fourth year as head coach of the Demos where he’s won two league and State Championships.
Jefferson alumni in the last three years consist of Terrence Jones (2010 Kentucky), Terrence Ross (2010 Washington), Stephen Madison (2010 Idaho) Antoine Hosley (2010 Northern Idaho) and Andrew Rountree (2011 Eastern Arizona).
Jefferson will be led by 6-3 transfer Victor Sanders who averaged 20 ppg his freshmen and sophomore seasons at Madison and 6-5 sophomore Kameron Chatman who played well as a freshman on the varsity squad and had an impressive summer.
The Demos are young and athletic and will use their speed to play pressure defense and harass the ball 94 feet.
