Highlights:
  * The 2000-01 Beavers should be fun to watch. They are a good
three point shooting team and are looking to press and run
    this season.
  * Beaverton won the LSI in 1996 and were semi-finalists last year.
  * Beaverton returns two starters from last year, the inside /
outside combination of Josh Downey and James Moore. Downey is an
excellent three point shooter while Moore is a force in the paint.
  * The Beavers boast the top basketball tradition in Oregon with 17
straight state tournament appearances. Out of those 17, they
have taken home 12 state trophies and hold Oregon’s 4-A record
of 39 wins in a row.
  * This is Coach Robertson’s 38th year as a head coach with an
overall record of 616-264. He has won state championships in
    ‘79 and ‘98.
