Highlights:
Montrose Christian will be led by Senior forward Uche Echefu who is considered the best player in the Washington D.C. area. Echefu is considering Duke, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan and Virginia Tech as his college choices.
The Mustangs' all-Japanese backcourt duo of K.J. Matsui and Taishi Ito was recently featured in an article of "Slam" magazine.
They finished last season with a 20-game win streak and ended up ranked #19 by USA Today.
Head Coach Stu Vetter has had a team ranked in USA Today every year since the poll began. He has been named the USA Today High School Coach of the year twice and has a career coaching record of 676-84.
Montrose Christian is currently the 9th ranked team in the country. |
