- Lake Oswego enters the LSI as the pre-season favorite to win Oregon’s State Championship. They finished last year as the State’s runner-up to Jesuit.
- The Lakers have a formidable starting line-up where all five could put up a double-double on any given night.
- They will led by 6-10 junior Kevin Love who is ranked as one of the best players in his class by national scouting services. Kevin was Oregon’s Player of the Year last season after averaging 25ppg and 15 rpg as a sophomore.
