Highlights:
Wheeler is making their first appearance in the LSI and is coming off three consecutive 6A State Championships. They ended 2006 ranked #23 by USA Today and are ranked #12 this year.
The Wildcats will play an up-tempo game and their big guys run the floor well. They expect to play a lot of people.
The Wildcats will be led by a trio of talented seniors in J.J. Hickson who has committed to N.C. State, Trey Lang and Adrian Williams who is the son of former Super Bowl MVP Doug Williams.
Wheeler is coached by Doug Lipscomb who in 14 years at the helm of the Wildcats has guided the team to 9 Region Championships, 7 State Final Four appearances and 4 State Titles.
