The Cougars will be looking to returning three year letter winner Cody Hickey to help them control their game tempo, execute their disciplined offense and utilize a man-to-man defense. Seniors Ryan Howard, David Martishev and Derek Hamill are expected to make big contributions.
Canby finished 3rd last year in the Pacific Conference and exited from the state playoffs after losing to Oregon City. This year they want to be a Conference Championship contender and to place in the OSAA playoffs.
Coach Dane Walker has been coaching for 18 years and posts a record of 130-54. While at Canby, he has led the Cougars to four Pacific Conference Championships and seven consecutive trips to the State playoffs with two visits to Oregon’s Elite Eight.
