PORTLAND, OR -- Be there for the start of a new rivalry as four of the top teams from Oregon and Washington face-off at PGE Park for the inaugural Les Schwab Kickoff Classic. The first game will be Oregon’s defending 4A champions Sprague Olympians of Salem, OR versus the Liberty Patriots of Issaquah, WA. Kickoff begins at 6:00 pm at PGE Park in Portland, OR. The second game begins at 8:30 pm, and will feature the Scappoose Indians of Scappoose, OR versus Lynden High School of Lynden, WA. Tickets are available for purchase at all Ticketmaster locations and the PGE Box Office. Adult tickets are $7.00 and students/senior tickets are $5.00 each. Proceeds for the event will benefit the Oregon School Activities Association. Gates to the park will open at 5:00 pm.

Sprague won the 4A title after an undefeated 2004 season. Liberty finished 8-2 and came in third place in the Class 3A KingCo Conference. The second game will highlight the talents of the Scappoose Indians who finished the season with 7-4 record and holds one of the top 3A offenses.
