Tickets are available at www.rosequarter.com and at the Rose Garden Ticket Office. All seating is General Admission and doors open at 12:30 p.m. (Additional ticket information is being requested – group, youth, team discounts.)
The Rose Garden is the home of the Portland Trail Blazers. Located in North Portland, the Rose Garden is easily accessible via car, bus and MAX. (directions) (parking)
The 2008 Nike Hoop Summit is an international boys high school basketball game featuring the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Select Team and the World Select Team. USA Team players are the top high school players in the country and the World Select Team is made up of the top 19 or younger players from the rest of the world.
The inaugural Nike Hoop Summit was played in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1995. Since then, the event has been played in Lake Buena Vista, Florida; Tampa, Florida; Indianapolis, Indiana; and San Antonia, Texas. The FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee housed the event from 2004 to 2007. The 2008 event will be the first Hoop Summit played on the West Coast.
The Nike Hoop Summit has a tradition of featuring the world’s upcoming basketball talent. As of Jan. 12, 2007, 33 former USA players and nine former World team members play in the NBA.

Because the Nike Hoop Summit is an international competition, FIBA games rules will be followed. These include:
Four 10 minute quarters
One 15 minute halftime between the second and third quarters
One two minute break between first-second and third-fourth quarters
24 second shot clock
Back court violation: 8 seconds
Player foul limit: 5
